Adoption Information

  • How do I adopt a pet?

To adopt a Valgrays dog, simply download this form here, complete it with as much information as possible & then return it to us at info@valgraysbcrescue.org.uk – we’ll take it from there!

  • Are there any adoption requirements?

Here is a except of our main conditions of adoption – when you apply for one of our dogs in need, you will receive the full set of our adoption conditions or alternatively you can get in touch & we will send them over to you.

You agree to lifetime ownership of the dog on the understanding that it is not used for re-sale or breeding and is kept as a house pet and/or working home.  Anyone found breeding for money will have the bitch/dog removed by the Rescue Administrator.

If unwanted at any time the dog must be returned to Valgrays, not sold, given away or put down.  A friendly visit may be made twice a year.  Should the dog be found uncared for at any time, the Administrator reserves the right to retrieve the dog without further notice.

  • Can I come and visit the dogs?

All viewing is by strict appointment only – please do not visit the site unless you have made prior arrangements. We do not have staff to man the phones or check the emails. Somebody will get back to you as soon as they can.
